Using Drop-downsUsing Drop-down MenusMenus for choosing or hiding fields (columns)Throughout Omniscope, there are many drop-down menus enabling the file publisher to manage the visibility of fields (columns) in user-selectable lists. Beginning with version 2.5, the field selection drop-down menus have been standardised and improved to help you find, choose and show/hide less useful fields (columns) to improve performance and prevent users from seeing inappropriate or uninformative fields as options on View/Device drop-downs. Main Toolbar data drop-downs - ColourThe Colour button is the only data drop-down on the Main Toolbar. It allows you to pick a field from all the fields in your file, and then applies application-wide data colouring to all views with that capability. To revert, select "None" which will remove the application-wide colouring setting. [link to Data colouring] |
