Pivot View: View data exported to Excel?
  •     Avizua August 4, 2014 3:55AM
Many users ask to export the result of a pivot view in Excel. Currently, the export to Excel gives the equivalent of a Table view.

    Thanks, Magali

You can do it by selecting a cell in the pivot table and pressing Ctrl+A to select all. Then use Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V to copy and paste the content into any Excel workbook.

The headings will be copied and pasted also.

    Thanks Daniel.
But how do you do when there are too many lines and columns and they are not all visible ?
I can select only the visible cells. And I want to keep the details for all the lines and colums.

You need to first make sure your pivot table isn't actually removing or grouping up the non-showing lines as others.

Using Ctrl + A should get them all then. Otherwise select the very top left cell and then go to the very bottom right cell, hold shift and select that cell. And you should of grabbed the whole table set for copy and pasting.
