Idea: Pivot View 2 - non-uniform row/column sizing?

Is there a way not to have all rows of the same size height, because if there are too many items in some rows the overall pivot view is ureadable -> see picture.

Milo - This is not possible now, I have reclassified as an Idea.

One workaround would be to apply sorting, maybe using a new sorting field/column, such that the most interesting rows come clustered to the top of the Pivot View table?

Another workaround is to create a formula field such as [field 1]+" - "+[field 2] and use this as the pivot axis, instead of field 1 and field 2.

Note: this Idea applies equally to columns as rows.

    Hi,

Even concatinating columns is still not ideal as we are unable to pin the column/row headers together. Would like to put my vote for this to be sorted as the new pivot is great in concept but too hard to display anything nicely.

    Cheers,
    Lowell

We're hoping to address this early in the 2.9 cycle.

    Hi Steve,

Have you addressed the issue with the columns expanding and displaying funny in the latest version of omniscope? 2.9?

This is becoming a real issue here at Investec as more and more reports are being required with the multiple grouping header function in the new pivot version?

    Cheers,
    Lowell
