Logistics File Extension .ilf
  • Phill July 28, 2016 9:27AM
I downloaded the country map for Austria from the website and it is a "logistics file" and Visokio cannot open it. I am trying to merge a document with a list of addresses with the Austria country map.
Any ideas on what the problem could be or what kind of file this is..?
    Thanks in advance!

Hi, I am able to open it fine the file you attached just fine.

To help us diagnose can you help answer the following:

    1) What version of Omniscope are you using?

    2) When you say Visokio cannot open it, do you mean that when you try to use File > Open dialog the file is not recognised? Can you attach a screenshot?

ILF is a visokio format file which is most commonly used for Map files, but it can also be used for other things like sharing styles etc.

If you prefer I am happy to do a screen share to help diagnose the problem.

    Hi Mustafa,
    1) Desktop version 2.9
    2) Visokio can't read the file (see attached screenshot)

I recently started using Visokio and ultimately, I am trying to find Postal Codes for Austria, like the ones Visokio has for a few other countries. I htought it could work the same way if I used the Map files.

    Hi Phill,

I have had a look at the screenshot. The ILF file is a map file and is not designed to be imported in the way you trying (in DataManager). It is designed to be opened through File menu or from Map view to import an offline map. The file doesn't contain any postal data that you were trying to retrieve.

After a quick google search I came across this, don't know if this helps:

    https://www.aggdata.com/free/austria-postal-codes

    I hope this helps.
