Tabs: Duplicated tabs move to end of report (2.9)

In 2.7 a duplicated tab would be copied next to the tab you duplicated. In 2.9, it moves the duplicated tab to the end of the report tabs list. Is there a setting where this can be changed ?

This behaviour change is result of the addition of a new tab functionality - multi-layer sub-tabs, introduced in 2.9.

Tab orders can be easily changed by dragging each tab into the desired position.

Hi Paola,

thanks for the reply. Is there a setting where this can be changed? Some times the drag and drop doesn't quite work correctly and you have to go right to the back of your report again. Many thanks

Mathew, you may find it easier if you have lots of tabs to either group them, or even use the Main toolbar > Tabs > Manage tabs... option to rearrange.

Thanks for the tips. That has proved to be the best option (If its not possible for them to duplicate like they used to which was a lot easier)

I would say that you should continue to duplicate the old way. However, when you want to rearrange them you should use the manage tabs option.
