We are software developers providing integrated solutions using our own software package(s) and underlying database(s). Can we connect, bundle or integrate Omniscope for reporting and data entry/export ?
Yes, please do. Omniscope is designed to become part of integrated data management and reporting solutions. Omniscope not only connects to and refreshes from internal proprietary data repositories, warehouses and 'marts', it also creates, links to and displays web-based content such 'dashboards'. Normally, database connections to SQL-defined reporting views using ODBC or JDBC in conjunction with the Scheduler and Generator automation tools are sufficient to create powerful automated integration with automated refresh.
If this is not sufficient, we can develop (for a fee) a bespoke Connector to optimise further the performance and functionality of the combined system. For example, we already provide a connector to SalesForce in Omniscope 2.5.
