Facebook connector

Hi there

The Facebook connector seems to have been removed from the application - are there any plans to reinstate this? It would be useful to be able to connect to fan pages and pull down the various stats accessible via the API.....

Hi Scott,

The Facebook connector was removed while we fixed some problems. It has now been added again and is available in the latest Omniscope 2.6 release (b516).

At the moment the connector retrieves a list of friends and their details/connections. In the future we plan to expand the Facebook connector to retrieve other details such as photos, videos etc. If anyone has any ideas for other functionality we could implement please let us know.

Thanks for your response - FYI - I'm using alpha build 512 (the latest version) and the FB connector isn't available?

Re stats for fan pages - this would include data available via Facebook Insights such as active user volume, user volume, page views, likes, post views, comments, wall posts, fans, etc. A full list of metrics available via the API is located here:

To see the latest version click on 'daily builds'. The latest version of Omniscope 2.6 is 516.
