2.6 and Viewer - automatic number abbreviations

Hi there,

In 2.6 we have the possibility to turn off automatic number abbreviations in bar views.
When loading the iok in a Viewer this setting is not taken over.
Is this expected behaviour? Is that something that can be changed? Would be great as it is a very helpful feature.

Not sure. When using the Java webstart. I assume 2.5 is used?

Yes, webstart uses 2.5 by default, and this is a feature that requires 2.6.

You can start 2.6 webstart by using the launch button on the 2.6 download page. But if you create a link for this, it will only work for a week or two, until 2.6 becomes the default version (in a month or two).

Another question: when you say " will only work for a week or 2" does it mean that we need torecreate the link evert two weeks?

On any download page (2.6, 2.5), click the Customise link next to the Launch button. This will give you the link builder for that version.

Yes, if using anything other than the "/getomniscope" default download, you will need to recreate the link every week or two, because your link will contain a reference to a specific build which only stays up for a short period since we release so frequently in beta.
