We are making an inventory of all our datamanager workflows. We would like to take the next step in version management, weak spots, data load etc. One of the items we are registering is the amount of datamanager blocks, as a derivative of the workflow complexity. How can we (except for manual counting) easily find the number of blocks in a datamanager file? If anyone has experience in this matter, please contact me. Thanks!
You should try File metadata block in the DataManager - it will provide detailed information about your .iok files, including listing sources, field names, field count/record count, list visualisations per tab etc. I think it stops short of actually counting the DataManager blocks (nobody ever asked for it), but if there's interest we might be able to add this functionality.
