Pivot View 2: New and improved (2.8+)

In Omniscope 2.8 we have completely re-written the Pivot view. Here is a summary of the main changes and improvements:

Better performance. The old pivot view would often take a long time to calculate and update, particularly when working with large data-sets. You should find the new pivot view much quicker to work with.
You can now select multiple measures. The old pivot view only allowed you to select a single measure.
You can now select any field in the X and Y axis. In the old pivot view you were limited to selecting a single field.
The new Pivot view allows you to tile by one or more fields. Each tile will show a separate Pivot table.
There is now much more flexibility for configuring the look and feel of the pivot view. For example, on the view toolbar you can click the "Preset" button and choose to show the data as a grid or a table. More advanced options that allow you to configure options such as the pane height, label positions etc. are available in the "Layout" and "Style" view toolbar menus.
The new pivot view includes more colouring options. You can now colour by the measure value, the measure name (useful when more than one measures are selected), by a single field or by a fixed colour.

What is your progress implementing these features (in particular multiple measures) in 2.9?

Yuri - Not sure we understand the question....multiple measures are supported in version 2.8 as stated above...in 2.9 were there other features you are looking for? Which? Is the desired feature already listed under Ideas: Pivot View above, or is it other than those mentioned above?

Some legacy files still use Pivot View 1...presumably you are referiing to Pivot View 2? You can check the version of your Pivot View in each tab/file from the Pivot View Toolbar:

Tools > Other > View version

Yes, I didn't phrase the question well at all.

I was thinking about Omniscope Mobile, the web version of the Pivot View 2 doesn't show multiple measures (our server runs b884). How far down the pipeline is that feature?

Yuri - apologies for the late response. The Pivot view in Mobile is due a major upgrade which will include full multi-measure support and variable-width groups. This work has been under way for many weeks and will bear fruit shortly.
