Alex - Omniscope itself is unaware of road routing, traffic conditions etc. unless all this data is in the local data set...and even then Omniscope does not have built-in optimization algorithms, so it cannot do this unaided.

If you have a subscription to a full GIS Server that provides this service, Omniscope can probably use the web service to request and receive the shortest distance data from the remote server and add it to the data set.

ESRI Arc GIS is one such web service with which Omniscope is being increasingly well integrated, but there are others which may be used.
