Date/Time: 2013 Dates in Week Format?

I'm having a bit of trouble getting a field organizer to automatically convert the date field into weeks. Instead of calling the last two days of the year the first week of 2013, it's marking them as 2012. Any actual days in 2013 are coming up blank. Screenshot attached.

Any help you can offer would be great. Thanks.

Presumably you're already using 2.8. In which case, see the following post which explains the problem and provides a 2.8-specific solution.
