This issue is not solved yet. I am still facing it. I add a variable option to one graph, it simple reflects in other graphs to no matter how I apply them. Is there an option where I could do the following operation "This menu this tab". All the other options that you have given doesn't help me to fix this issue. Could you pleas explain this more clearly. Thanks
I think you are confusing variables, filters and fields.
A variable is a value slider which adjusts a value used in formulae. I'm pretty sure you don't mean this.
A filter is a device in the right sidebar which has a double-ended range slider (for numbers/dates), a list of checkboxes (for categories), or a search box (for free text).
From your screenshots in the other post, it looks like you want to restrict the set of fields available in a field picker. This has no relation to *filters*. It simply allows you to limit available choices (e.g. for paning) to fields you think viewers of your report will want to be able to select. You might use this, for example, to hide lat/lon map coordinate fields from the Pivot view Value field picker.
If you want to have views which are unaffected by changes to *filters*, you must use that view's Subset menu to select "All" or a query, and not "Filtered data", "Filtered out data", or either filtered/filtered-out intersected with a query.
It's the field pickers that I am having problem with. If I change the field picker in one view, it affect the field picker values in other views as well. I tried all possible ways to fix it. But it is not happening. Could you please suggest me how to fix it. I need field pickers independent for each axis and each view. Thanks
