Ordering a pane view in Bar Charts 2.6

Hi
I have a bar chart which i have used a measure and split by a field.I have then also panned it on the vertical.When i go to order the bars the ordering is done by ignoring the pane.How do i acheive a ordering which takes into account the vertical pane.

Ben, I'm not sure exactly what you mean.

If you have not "flipped" the view and are paning vertically, and want each pane to independently sort, in 2.6 choose Tools > Order > Alignment > None. In 2.7 this is temporarily found under Tools > Order > Empty data buckets, although this is going to change.

If you want to order panes, rather than bars, see Tools > Order.

If you have multiple measures, by default the sum of all measures is used to order panes, for example. To use a specific measure, you need 2.7; click the "order by this measure" button in the measures drop-down.
