Hiding fields in Data Explorer tabs

Hi Guys - Quick one. I would like to be a ble to display data in a device so it can be searched on, but not to show up in the data explorers views. Any idea how to do this?

If you want to show a text search for a device in the righthand sidebar, but don't want that field to appear in any view:
- for the table/chart views, untick the field in the field picker, to remove it from the view.
- for all views, and all field pickers (such as Bar view "Split"), click the spanner icon and use the controls to hide the field from all drop-downs. When you re-open the drop-down, the field won't be present.
