Currently the user has to enter a minimum and max or gets a "Please complete the 'value' field" information box.
If there is no max I want to give, Omniscope should calculate the max automatically (as it does when the user defined max is lower than the max data).]]>
Adjusting the range of device as per the selected data http://forums.visokio.com/discussion/837/adjusting-the-range-of-device-as-per-the-selected-data Wed, 22 Jun 2011 10:18:23 -0400 gayatri 837@/discussions
We are building an application where the user can select a country and the data in the table view changes accordingly. We are using some device for financial numbers so that the user can see data in table view only for limited range of financial numbers. The device currently is taking into consideration all of the data in database instead of considering the filtered data for selected country. Is there a way I can have a device which will be adjusted with the selected set of data.

Thanks,

Range slider in sidebar moving only by dates in data http://forums.visokio.com/discussion/742/range-slider-in-sidebar-moving-only-by-dates-in-data Thu, 05 May 2011 06:22:34 -0400 Alk 742@/discussions
This is particularly useful for date filters, especially because when date fields are showing weekly or monthly data, the period the range slider is showing can be misleading.

For example, for tab showing weekly sales data, when the user moves range slider for the date field from 9th May till 15th May, it would indicate the sales have not changed throughout the period, whereas if the slider jumped from 9th May till 16th May, the user would know there were no entries in between and the charts will all update.

(This idea supersedes the support post located here - http://forums.visokio.com/discussion/719/date-field-with-increments).]]>
