Data subsets: Turning of selection brushing in mobile

I have two content views in a tab to display (a) total value of filtered data and (b) value of selected data. I would like the first view to be unaffected by selecting data, but displaying all data is not an option - it must display filtered data.

I tried turning off selection brushing, however this does not appear to work when viewing the mobile version of the file. I also tried de-querying by the splits used in the other views in the tab, but this also did not seem to work in mobile.

Is there currently a way to ensure that a view is affected by filtering but not by selection that works for mobile reports?

Hi

Can you change the selection click behaviour when using Omniscope? I know that you can select data by clicking and also change this from Selection to "Show details", but is there a way of only selecting 1 bit of data?

i.e. when you click 1 bar on a bar chart, it highlights blue. If you click again on another bar, it de-selects the original and selects the new bar?

Selection: Filters brushing (2.8+)

For a long time now Omniscope has supported "Selection brushing" (previously called just "Brushing").

With selection brushing, when you select data in one view, other views update to show the same data, with a shadow of the original data shown behind.

Omniscope 2.8 now supports "Filter brushing", available via opt-in to any views configured to show "All data". With this, as you filter, the view updates to show the filtered data, with a shadow of the original data. See example below.

Selection brushing is enabled by default. Filter brushing is not.

To explore filter brushing in a given view:

Choose View toolbar > Subset > All data
Choose View toolbar > Tools > Brushing > Filters brushing

Note that selection and filters brushing are now configurable at a per-view level (as above) as well as a global level (Main toolbar > Settings > Brushing)

Please note that this feature is still in development and may evolve further in the coming days.

I made a tab with 4 views and need activate/deactivate brushing in a individual views, no for all views in tab (see last comment in this discussion: http://forums.visokio.com/discussion/571/subset-all-data-and-filtered-data-in-dm-2.6-alpha-475-bugs)
