Trial version 2.5, entering purchased Desktop licence keys and then upgrade to version 2.6

A colleague has been using a trial Omniscope version from the main download site and installed v 2.5 intially. They have now purchased a licence key and turned their trial version of 2.5 into a full Desktop version. They now want to upgrade to version 2.6 in line with the rest of MEC and make full use of the DataManager workspace. Can they just go to the version 2.6 /okavango page, download and install 'over the top' while retaining the licence key or do they need to de-activate the licence key first, de-install v 2.5, then install v 2.6 daily build and then re-activate their licence key ?

Simon - Anyone running version 2.5 can just install version 2.6 over the top from this link:

http://www.visokio.com/okavango

As long as their activation license key is a full Desktop key, the new installation should come up as a 2.6 Desktop with the DataManager workspace.

For best service, you should ensure that our activation servers at:

http://services.visokio.com

have been 'whitelisted' by network administrators so that direct access is not being blocked by the firewall. If our activation servers are being blocked, the process will require use of a browser and in some cases our manual intervention.
