    Hi,

Is there any way where a textbox can be inputted into the charts itself to record any observations and comments?

    Thanks!

Shamong - Currently, there is no floating free text box WITHIN any View. Some Views provide Tooltips which can be set to display any field in the data set...if you add a commentary field in the data set, you can choose to display this text field as a Tooltip from:

Settings: Tooltips > Fields > [my commentary]

Free text input is supported by the Content View, any number of which can be used, in any size and shape adjacent to other views. One advantage of using the Content View
is that if you save/publish the Report IOK files using a ServerPlus installation, then others can add to and even modify the commentary and save a new file using only the free Viewer, just like they would using their (paid) copy of PowerPoint.

Within a given view, you can use both the View Header and View Footer to add comentary which is not part of the data set and not editable in the free Viewer. Reveal these options from:

View: View Toolbar > Tools >Toolbars and styles > Header and Footer

I have re-classified the hovering/floating free text box as an Idea.
