Aggregation: Viewing multiple record details?

Details-on-demand pop-ups currently show un-aggregated data. In an aggregated view (such as the Graph view), need ability to display multi-record details for *aggregated* data?

Agree - this fits with the idea of "Named Aggregates": create an aggregate (like we do currently) and then save like a Query, recording all of the field settings (the "aggregate by" fields, the aggregation settings for all fields, including the "none" aggregations, which would then hide fields from the saved aggregate).

This would allow us to create a View over a named aggregate (rather than having to specify all the field settings), and then selecting the "details-on-demand" would show the contents of the "Named Aggregate".

    Feasible?

    Possibly.

Rather than "Named aggregates" which is possibly overkill (unlike named queries, which are useful for the recipient of a report), I favour the ability to copy and paste (or drag) aggregation settings around.

*This* post is about when you view details for a selection in an aggregated view. Currently it shows the unaggregated data. You might want to see the aggregated data (using the same settings as the view). A publisher option to change the default, and a right-click end-user option to choose which.
