I have a data table where some columns of data are derived using formulae. When this is displayed in the Table View, these the headings of these columns are displayed in a different colour to the rest of the column headings. Do you know where I can set all column headings to the same colour? Additionally, is it possible to change the background colour for selected data within the Table View? Thanks.
Pete - by default, any columns derived from other columns using formulae are indicated in blue. You can turn this off under Settings > [This tab] >Advanced tab settings > untick Show formula fields in blue.
Control of the background colour of the Table View is done from the Table View Colour drop down at far right of the View Toolbar. Select ALL columns enabled and set the colour to be the colour you have assigned to a given column/field from Data > Manage Fields> Options> Value order, colour (not Field colour).
Precise control of the colour of each row, or all the rows, can be achieved by adding a Colour By data field to the data set, e.g. alternating data values Red, White and Blue, then assigning the corresponding colour to each of these data values. In this example, the Table View would then show the rows with sequential red, white and blue backgrounds, fading of which is also controllable from the Colour by drop down.
You can change the default data colour and edit the styles from the Style Menu, but changing the Selection subset blue to another styled colour is not currently an option.
Please post this as an Idea to add the selection background colour option to the Style > Application Styles > Edit dialogue.
