In 2.6, these controls are all available from the menu for the breakdown. E.g. to change Split by's Fit to screen setting, open the Split drop-down and click the little tools submenu next to the chosen field. The same goes for stack-by and paning.
You can also access fit-to-screen globally from the Layout menu.
