Is there any way to change the memory allocation on a zero install (.jar) version of Omniscope. We have come across the 64bit memory error when embedding specific default.iok files in the .jar file and we'd like to boost the capacity of Omniscope for these initial deployments.
Some background... the zero install is being tested as an initial roll-out device to clients because they either 1) cannot install the free-viewer due to IT restrictions and 2) that we are using the daily builds to create our visualizations and there's no guarantee that the end user will take the time to manually update their free viewer on a daily basis.
We're hoping that we can use the one-click zero install to influence the eventual buy-in of the product to result in a local install of the free viewer once 2.6 is deemed stable.
Note that this has nothing to do with 64-bit vs 32-bit; you're running into the problem of executable JAR files having a 128mb memory limit. If we were to resolve this, the next (considerably higher) ceiling would be the 32-bit limit of around 1100mb on 32-bit Windows PCs, or closer to 1800mb on 64-bit Windows PCs running 32-bit apps.
