Security: Owner-locked option is greyed out in Desktop version 2.6?
  •     elitem June 14, 2011 11:00AM
I'm trying to protect a file by making it an "owner-locked" file, so that other users can't save or export.
I go to File -> File Security -> and there's an option to Password Protect the file, or Owner-lock. The latter is greyed out.

How can I lock the file?
    Thanks

Elite - If your save your file as a new file using File > Save as...in the lower right side part of the Save dialogue under Security you can set various file security features, including Owner-locked. We will look at why the File > File security > Owner-locked option was greyed out...may be a bug.

Elite the problem you mentioned was indeed a bug which has now been fixed. The fix will be available from build 2.6 b666 onwards.
