Database Error when Connecting to ODBC source using 2.6

I upgraded to Build 2.6-alpha b615 / 64 bit version. Apparenly, the file with ODBC source connection, which used to work on 2.5 Builds does not work anymore. The database connection is successfull, but when I go to retreive data, I get 'Database Error' and the application crashes. Do I need to do any special configuratrion change after the upgrade? Please advise
