Alix - in the current version of the Pivot View, you must show all values in in the X-axis pivot field in order to see the differences..there is a Tools drop down option not to show any values in the pivot cells, and rely only colour ranges, but NOT the option to suppress display of specific value columns in the Pivot View. I have re-classified this as an idea for future incarnations of the Pivot View.
