Hi, Is it possible to write a custom query from Omniscope to fetch data from Excel or SQL Server and then display them using current set filters?

I.e
I have a Search Box (entering name of the town/city) in Omniscope to filter and visualize number of shops open/closed during a specific period of time. I now want to write and trigger a query to a different dataset either Excel/SQL Server to get opening/closing ratio and vacancy rates of the town I searched using Search box in Omniscope. Is there any alternate way of doing this without importing data to Omniscope file??
