How to export selected data from an Omniscope view

Hi,

We can select a certain portion of the data in an Omniscope view and view the detailed records in a pop-up. Is there any way to extract only that part of the data in excel or CSV? If this facility isn't built-in, is this in the dev pipeline?

Once you have selected the data, rather than opening the popup details, you can export just the "selected data" by either:
- File > Export > Export data (there is an option to choose "selected data")
- or, add a table view (or any other), and switch "Data subset" to "Selected data", so you have a fixed view previewing your selection (an alternative to the popup details). From this view, choose Tools > Export view data.

we are using the webstart functionality with the online viewer.
How can we make this functionlity available in this Omniscope edition?

Arjan - you will need a Server Plus commercial publishing upgrade to create enabling IOK Report files that empower free Viewers (both fully-installed and those deployed via Java Web Start) to export user-selected subsets as .csv files. Note that fully-installed free Viewers can also export as Excel, but Web Start-deployed Omniscope Online free Viewers can only export the selected data as .csv files.
