    How can I set a file up so that a user can export a selection of data into Excel.

    I meant to add that the user is using the free viewer.

    Steve If a user has an Professional or above (and the file has not been Owner-locked), the File > Export > Create Excel spreadsheet (Excel files only) or > Export data files (to choose CSV or many other data file formats to export) are both available.

    If the user has a free Viewer, these options are NOT available UNLESS the file has been saved using a licensed enabling Enterprise Server Commercial Publisher installation, in which case these options WILL be visible and function in a free Viewer with enabled files.
