    Hi

I currently would like to import all the historical data from bloomberg into omniscope using the bloomberg block (for a specific security)

How do you do this ?

I have currently tried using bllomberg data block and then eneting the bsdn() formulae in the ticker/isin request field.

Any help would be much appreciated

    Thanks

To use the Bloomberg importer you must have Omniscope installed on a Bloomberg PC and have Microsoft Excel installed too.

The Bloomberg block should be connected to a block listing the ticker/ISIN/ID values you wish to import.

You need to select the formula and fields you want to import. You can edit the list of fields and enter your own custom field names.

Please let us know if this still doesn't work. What data are you getting? What error messages are being shown?

I have bloomberg installed an excel installed on my computer

I am connecting using the bloomberg block

I have a list of tickers of securities in another omniscope file .

I am using parameterised query to put these into the bloomberg block.

How do i get in the historical data of the stock ?

I have Formulae : User Defined and BLHP(%ID%,01/01/1990)

This only return one record , it should return a record for each day.

At the moment the Bloomberg importer only supports formulas that return a single value. If you need to return multiple values you will have to define multiple formulas.
