Import text into Omniscope

I'd like some people to add commentary to the graphs I'm building. I can't figure an easy way to do this - I'd like to (say) have a directive in the content view that will go to a web address and pull in a file, if it's there. Is this, or something like it, possible?

Kevin - Omniscope makes it easy to incorporate related content in an IOK file via web or network links...why not link to a collaborative, editable web page and display this text alongside local data visualisations in a Web View using a parametric link to the page of comentary text? Any number of records can point to the same page of text on the web if they share the same link.
