The spaces in the Venn View are coloured according to the comparative record counts in the queries and intersections...you can change the default start and end colours for number ranges in the file (will change shading in Table View and other places as well), and this should change the tones, but you cannot assign a colour like an alert red for a specific intersection.

Thanks for your response. How do you do this and will this allow me to change the colour of the actual filters that I have created. i.e. so that the main subsets are different colours.

No, it isn't possible to colour each query differently like 3 circles of light from different coloured spotlights. I have reclassified as an idea; please vote on it.
