- What version of Omniscope are you running? We have made quite a few changes to the OLAP connector recently so you should ensure you are using the latest version of Omniscope 2.6.

- What OLAP server are you using? The Omniscope OLAP connector only supports MDX complient servers and we have only tested it with Sql Server Analysis Services so there may be issues with other servers.

- Have you set up HTTP access? You must set up HTTP access to your MDX server. The link above refers to SQL Server 2008. How does one set up HTTP access to the cube in SQL Server 2005 please, if had blank looks from those that I have asked?

Configuration of analysis services 2005 and 2008 should be pretty much the same, however a quick search on the internet provided the following link:
