    Quick and easy (I suspect) question.

    I am preparing iom files for publication. I am using the report format with content views to provide narrative to the displayed graphics. I want to restrict users from being able to access the menu options via the spanner at the top right of the main view window.

    Can I do this by owner locking the file?

    Until recently, the viewer was restricted to very basic commands in the views, which were still accessible by the spanner icon. Recently we've added the ability to disable this in 2.6.

    Settings > Advanced tab settings > Hide expand view toolbar.
