Search and Replace: Large Amount of Data

Hi all,
I am trying to do search and replace in my data,
e.g. in my data it shows "yt", then I need to replace it as "YouTube".

I have an Excel file of all short codes and their full names.
Is there any quicker way to do so?

Merge/Join with that separate Excel file as a reference/look up bringing the full name as a new column to the original data.

Then hide/delete the short name field if you don't need it.
