I tested version 3.0 (Omniscope 3.0 Alpha b7938 for Windows). When I started Omniscope, Antivirus (AVG) always blocked the program to start and reported as a threats. Please find the attached file.
It has happened to me as well, I have already talked to AVG to signal this as false positive. You can safely use it. (e.g. you can scan the OmniscopeX.exe file with Windows Defender) . I am afraid you will have to turn off AVG, install Omniscope, then re-enable it.
