Anyone using Omniscope 2.8 or an earlier version should upgrade to 2.9 or 2.9+ no later than the 12th November, to avoid any certificate issues during the next Omniscope installation. However, should you need to download the version 2.8 for any reason, please contact our support.
Those using 2.9 or 2.9+, including the clients using WebStart, should make sure their version is 2.9 b1792 or greater/ or 2.9 Plus (RC) b1790 or greater. -

Bernard, although we recommend you upgrade frequently, but this post is specific for those who are using WebStart functionality through our website, or hosting a copy of our application for WebStart purposes.
In your case, you can continue to work as normal and upgrade when you feel comfortable.
The latest release, apart from bug fixes, will give you the installer which is signed using the latest certificates.
