Java 8 bundling & compatibility in 2.9

We have been working on Java 8 compatibility in Omniscope 2.9 and have a first hotfix build ready for external testing. We've not fully completed internal QA on this yet, but expect it to pass with flying colours:

This comprises compatibility fixes for Java 8, and updating the version of Java bundled with the installed app to Java 8 (version 8u45).
Please try with your data files and publishing environments. Post back here if you find any issues. -

Java 8 compatibility has been integrated into the latest 2.9 Stable build after 8 weeks of integration testing in 2.9 and up.
