Scripting: cryptographic hash of a message with JavaScript?

I am looking to create a SHA256 hash of a text message. This link gives the necessary Javascript to peform the hash function:

Question: is it possible to implement the above in Omniscope perhaps using the Custom Script operation?

This could also be done in R if you figure out how to use the digest package, you can then use the R connector in Omniscope to load in the results.

You may be able to do this using this library:
https://code.google.com/p/crypto-js/#SHA-2

Instead of using SCRIPT tags (Custom Script is pure JS, not HTML), you should copy the source behind that library into the custom script, before doing the custom script data conversion using the hash function.
