Web Server: New "mask version" option in Web Server config menu (2.9 Plus)

    From 2.9 Plus b1582, you can now open the Server app, and tick:

    Omniscope Web Server > Config > Permissions > Mask version

    This will encode the version identifier where displayed to end users on the web (such as in the page title and the About box) in a form that masks the intricacies of the Visokio build+branch+versioning system.

    The equivalent XML attributes is:
    <mobilewebserver ... maskVersion="true" ... >

    If this parameter is set for an older version of omniscope will it fail or simply ignore it?

    Steve Spencer has just answered me on this. Older versions will simply ignore the parameter so it's safe to add as a global option.
