In our desktop application we support colouring point overlays by data in the overlay dataset.

The intention is to focus on our mobile application for new features and functionality, which will enable us to handle much greater volumes of data and vastly improve overall performance.

We haven't finalised plans for the upcoming improvements in Map View but the ideas so far include;

• Handling much larger volumes of data, quicker and with a reduced memory footprint.
• Size/shape options for point overlays.
• Data-driven point overlays. For example; colouring your overlay points using data in your main dataset.
• Improved labeling - allowing the user to specify a field for the label values.
• Ability to define colour schemes on overlay fields.
• Further integration with Esri ArcGIS services, e.g. route and network analysis.
• Colour key support for overlays.
