I am a new user at Investec and the new set of reports we want to create require multiple x-axis headers. The problem is that the later groupings are bigger and it is making the format awful.
Someone said I need to use the function "Headers influence automatic column widths", however I can't seem to find it.
Can someone please assist or point me in the direction of a work around for this?
Lowell - There were changes between Pivot View 1 and Pivot View 2 in version 2.8...what version are you using? From version 2.8, there is a new version but also the option to change back to the old version from: Pivot View Toolbar: > Tools (blue spanner) > Other > View version
Hi, I am using the latest pivot as I need the multiple headers accross the X-axis. I am now looking for a way to hold the width of the columns as I would like them displayed. I am wondering whether the "Headers influence automatic column widths" is available in the 2.8 version? If not another method to do this would be great?
I am working with the user who raised this originally, the issue with pivot table column/row headers all are of same height/width rendering a lot of empty space.
This post pertains to the idea of fitting automatic column width to the axis label cells in addition to the data cells. Please post example IOK files which demonstrate specifically this requirement (as opposed to the variable-size requirement).
