Pivot View: Copy Result as Pivot Table into Excel?

In 2.8 is there any way to copy a pivot table into Excel, or other application, as data?

The "export view data" option exports all the underlying data - in a Table View the export view data actually exports the table as viewed?

Option to copy visible data from a Pivot table is still there, but needs to be enabled.
Pivot View - Tools> Other> View version> Version 1

If you have a big pivot table, fast copy can be done by
Tools> Other> Select All

The pasted data will be displayed in Excel without the Totals row/column, so you can use Excel's Auto Sum function.

Paola - this only works for version 1 of the pivot view and I was using the new version 2 pivot view which is much more useful. Would be great to be able to do this on the new version

This will be implemented in the next week or two, and you will be able to copy/paste soon from the new Pivot View.

Hello - any news on the implementation? Not being able to export the pivot data to xls significantly limits the usage of the the new pivot view. Or is there a way that I just didn't figure out?
