I am looking to develop and distribute an app based on detailed market data with numerous market performance measures. I think that what I want is possible within Visokio but want to check my understanding.
I want to compose a branded first tab with instructions as to how to use the app. I want to use this tab to make choices about year of data, country, sector, market activity etc.
I want these selection to hold true for further, dependent, tabs (5 or 6 in number) with dashboards of related market performance measures (with all devices hidden etc).
I want to be able to use this solution primarily as a laptop based consulting tool, but with the ability to then publish locked examples to distribute to clients.
I suspect that there are several ways to achieve some of the above, but is there anything that I am proposing that is not currently possible.
If anyone has already created an solution with some or all of these features I would love to share your know how.
Each time you create a new tab, you have the create new tab (advanced) option which allows you to de-select the default option to associate a query state/filter settings with the tab on opening. If you de-select this option, the new tab(s) will 'inherit' the filtered IN subset of previous tabs, enabling multi-tab, multi-step user workflows and experiences.
Omniscope is a general-purpose application, so we cannot guarantee that everything you need can be quickly accommodated within the local client. That said, parametric URL links, configurable web services buttons and the ability to display custom web apps in Web View(s) all offer many ways to integrate interactive server-based specialised logic within Omniscope local data interactions.
Omniscope enables developers to create a seamless 'hybrid' user experiences that go beyond browser-only solutions and offer the 'best of both worlds.'
