Outputs: Files automatically open on export?

Hi - The users here, have asked if it would be possible to have a file (excel for example) to auto open on saving?

Thanks for the question. I'm not sure what exactly you mean here. When you mean "On saving" what do you mean? When you save an Omniscope file?

Sorry I mean on exporting a file to a disk.

So you export as an excle file for example, then that file auto opens?

Hi Dave - So do you mean when you export to Excel from in Omniscope? When you do this with a file output block you should see the option "Open document after publishing". If this is selected, the Excel file will open after the data has been published. You need to have Excel installed to see this option.

Looks like I need to upgrade her version, thats why I did not spot it. But can confurm it on my newer version.
