Licensing: File Security role-based group security?

Hi - From the research on Omniscope Detailed FAQ, it states that role-based group security can be implemented to the file. But, from the File Security Setting in the Desktop application, there are only three options, Owner Locked, Password and Time Limiting. I am wondering if it is because I am using the trail version or the role-based group security is configured somewhere else?

Zhou - Role-based group security is implemented via Server/ServerPlus http: authentication and domain-locking file security settings, together with settings in the Batch Publishing Control IOK file. These file-security options are not available in the Desktop Edition.
