Refreshing: SQL Server data auto-refresh via Load button?
  • ZhouNan October 9, 2012 8:59AM
Hi - I am trying to create an auto data refresh file; and I am having difficulty with data imported from SQL Server. From experimenting, I found that reLoad (use Load button) the data from database table does not get the latest data? I have to open the Edit SQL tab, make some changes and EXECUTE the query again to get the latest data?

So, is it true that the auto refresh function in field organiser will not be able to refresh the latest data from database because it is only doing reloading? - Many thanks!!

Hi - The "Load" button simply loads the data set into the blue in-memory Omniscope block for dashboarding via DataExplorer tabs.

If you want to force an update of the Source block connected to SQL Server, just click on the source block Tools dropdown upper right and select "Update data". The auto-refresh function will then show the latest data imported from SQL Server.
