Web Start: How to host free Viewer download on local server?

Hi there - We are trying to install the Java Webstart functionality on our own server.
I remember you provided some detailed documentation about how to do this.
May I ask you to send us this so we can explore the possibilities?

There's nothing special about the installation on your server - Web Start is just one of many Omniscope deployment options, in this case via a special link (called JNLP link), that causes both a Viewer installation and the IOK data file to be downloaded at the same time.

Hi Paolo, thanks for your reply.

I am familiar with the webstart functionality as documented on the Visokio site. We already use it as such. But what I am looking for is documentation about installing and starting the webstart from our own server in stead of using the Visokio server. In the past Mohamed (I think) has sent us a document that described how to do this. Can you please send us the latest version?

You are right, this is a different type of solution, enabling you to host WebStart on your own server. Document is attached.
