Hi - At the first, the content is as in picture "Original content" and then I would like to update it to my database using operation "Database Output" and select Publish method: Update data.

But the result is Omniscope change my content that you can see in picture "Result Content" and see at column Platts Created. It changed from "Oct 1, 2010 5:42:26 PM" to "Oct 1, 2010 12.00.00 AM". Omniscope 2.8 build 258(Alpha) *64

    Hi,

First,I would like to review you again.

    1. picture "screenshot database" refers to the old data in database.
you can see that column "Created" still have the value of time.

    2. picture "source data" refers to data that i would like to update.
i would like to update column "modified" but column "Created" will be not changed.

    3. picture "publish method" show the method update data that i used it.

    4. picture " result" show the result when i updated it already.
you can see that in green box,
if column "modified" didn't change, column"Created" will not change.
but if column "Modified" changed, column "Created" will changed too like in red box.

I would not like to change anything in column "Created".

    Best Regard,
    Palm

    Hi,

    As we talk about it,
    This is more example.

Picture "Data to update" is the data that i will use to update.
please see id:1 to id: 5 in red box of 2 picture, each of id is the same thing.

When i updated it and open my database to see the data.
Picture "After Updated" is the data that i saw in my database.

the result is my database didn't have same data with the data that i would like to update.
    Why omniscope change my data?

    id1 >> Column "Created"
    from "Oct 1, 2010 5:42:26 PM" to "Oct 1, 2010 12:00:00 AM"

    id1 >> Column "Modified"
    from "Aug 17, 2012 12:27:03 " to "Aug 17, 2012 12:00:00 AM"

    Thank you for your help.

    Best Regards,
    Palm

    Hi,

We have done some investigation. At the moment the Omniscope database publisher will only publish dates to a database (not date/times). We have now fixed this issue, so you should be able to publish date/time data. This fix will be available in tomorrow's 2.8 release (b261).

Please let us know if you encounter any further problems.
