DataManager: deleting empty fields in batch output

Is it possible to have a configuration in the batch output configuration file to delete empty fields where data is not available? I know it is possible to include list of fields but I could not see how it is possible to remove empty columns.

Mohamed - In the DataManager Operations menu is a block called 'Delete empty data'.

You can put this block just 'upstream' of the shipping file to delete empty fields and rows before distribution.

I know about this block, I meant when batch outputting files and using the "Batch output" block. Is it possible to specify in the template a command to delete empty fields.

Hi,

We will add the option to "Delete empty fields" and "Delete empty rows" to the batch output configuration file. This will be available in tonight's 2.8 release.
